Ahmedabad plane crash probe orders: The aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, Gujarat has shocked the entire country. Now, to reach the bottom of this accident, the Central Government has formed a multi -related committee for a high -level inquiry. This committee has to investigate the cause of the accident and review the existing standard operation process (SOP). Also, guidelines have to be prepared to prevent such accidents in future. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued an order regarding this.

Who will be included in the inquiry committee?

This inquiry committee will be chaired by the Home Secretary of the Union Home Ministry. He will be accompanied by Secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Additional Home Ministry or Joint Secretary, Representative from Government of Gujarat, Representative of Gujarat State Disaster Response Authority, Director General of Gujarat Police (DGP), Ahmedabad Police Commissioner, Director General of Air Force, Director General of Air Force, Director General of Civil Aviation Security Bureau/Director General of BCAS, DGCA, Special Director of Intelligence and Director of Forensic Science Services Director.

The committee will investigate through cockpit voice recorder, flight data, ATC log, airline maintenance report, testimony of witnesses and interviews of staff.

Report will have to be submitted in three months

The government has also set a deadline to present the report to this committee. For this, the government has given three months. Now the committee will have to submit its detailed report on the Ahmedabad aircraft accident within three months. For this, the committee has also been given full exemption. In such a situation, this aircraft accident was just a technical lapse or there were some other reasons behind it, for a response it would have to wait for three months.

DGCA’s big order

Prior to the formation of the committee, DGCA also ordered an inquiry into 787 Dreamliner aircraft on Friday. Under this, technical standards related to fuel, hydraulic, engine control, air compressor and takeoff will be examined. At the same time, DGCA made the power assurance check compulsory and ordered to be repaired on the basis of review of technical faults in 15 days. After investigation, its report will have to be submitted to the airline to DGCA.
