The students of Prahar Samaj Jagriti Sanstha tied a rakhi to the soldiers of Army Postal Service including Chief Guest Colonel Lovelina. In this event, more than 30 educational institutions of Nagpur also handed over the ashes created by their institutions to the soldiers. These ashes will be sent in far -flung areas where soldiers are performing their duties in odd circumstances. They will make them feel ashes that they are not alone, the whole country is behind them, the whole country is their family.
During this, Colonel Lovelina said that 50,000 more ashes are being sent by this institution than last year. These ashes inspire soldiers to protect the country. This rakhi provides the responsibility of protecting our country. He further said that he has been given the responsibility of reaching the Rakhis to the troops, he will convey these ashes to the troops in a good way before the Rakhi.
Retired Flight Lt. Shivali Deshpande, Secretary, Prahar Samaj Jagriti Sanstha, said that along with 3 lakh rakhis, the students of Prahar have also sent some messages to the soldiers of the country. Many times the soldiers do not get a holiday and they are unable to get a rakhi with their family on Rakshabandhan, so they send the children of the institution. The institute aims to increase the number of three lakhs to 4 lakh ashes next year.
