The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken the responsibility of killing the Major of the Pak Army. BLA spokesman Jiyend Baloch issued a statement stating that the action was carried out by BLA’s special unit “Special Tectical Operations Squad (Stos)”. This operation was done on the basis of information received from BLA’s intelligence branch “Zarb”.
A day after Major’s murder, seven policemen went missing while patrolling in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This has caused panic in Pakistan. District Police Chief Arshad Khan said that these policemen had gone on patrol in South Waziristan district bordering Afghanistan. All of them went missing from there.
Khan said that three policemen of Laddha police station went missing during regular patrolling in justice, Abid and Ismail Laddha areas. He said that no news has been received about the missing personnel and the search operation is going on.
