Lucknow News: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Plantation and Sanitation Awareness Program was organized by the Ground and Garden Department at Lucknow University, the Department of Commerce, Principal Students Welfare Lawn and Saraswati Vatika. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai and Department Superintendent Professor SN Pandey planted the plants. During this, the Vice Chancellor of the University Alok Kumar Rai said that the environment and its responsibility belongs to everyone. If there is environment, life will remain.

On the occasion of Environment Day, Ku Lapati Alok Kumar Rai planted vermilion trees in the university campus. The Vice Chancellor said about planting vermilion trees that the way the Prime Minister of the country responded to Pakistan from Operation Sindoor, the vermilion tree was planted in the worldwide in honor. Other professors including the university vice -chancellor should be present on the occasion.
