On hearing the name of Bajaj Chetak, one becomes an emotional connection in the heart. Now the same Bajaj Chetak 3502 has returned to a new electric avatar, which is not only environmentally friendly, but also very special in technology and style. Bajaj has introduced Chetak 35 series in three variants 3501, 3502 and 3503, with a starting price of ₹ 1,09,510 (ex-showroom).
Glimpse of old memories in design, but completely modern
The design of the new Bajaj Chetak is reminiscent of the classic Chetak scooter, but it is rich in modern touch. Metal body panels give it a premium look.
Apart from this, sequential turn signals like LED lighting, smooth body lines and high-end cars make it different.
Every variant is full of features
Bajaj Chetak 3501 variants provide features like smart TFT touchscreen display, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and music control. The 3502 variants have a color TFT display while the base variant 3503 has a simple LCD unit. All variants provide a 35-liter undercare storage and long seats, which also takes full care of the comfort.
Powerful in performance and range
The Bajaj Chetak gives power to the 35 series, a 4KW electric motor, which generates torque of 20Nm. It is accompanied by 3.5kwh’s IP67-rated lithium-ion battery, which gives a certified range of 153 km. Its top speed is 73kmph, which can be considered perfect for riding in the city.
Modernity in suspension and braking
The front and rear of the scooter have monoshock suspension and ride on 12-inch alloy wheels. For braking, a combination of front disc and back drum brake is given, which is excellent in terms of safety.
