Chandauli News: In the meeting held on the instructions of the District Magistrate, the farmers openly raised problems. During the meeting, the farmers clearly raised serious problems of non -repair of bodies, kulawa and drains, no release of water from the bodies and drainage. The meeting was attended by Dinanath Srivastava, Divisional President-Kisan Union and Seshanath Yadav, District President-Kisan Union along with Baldau Yadav (Village Barwatad), Sukhdev Yadav (Village Semra Kusahi) and other rural farmers were present.
On the instructions of District Magistrate Chandra Mohan Garg, this important meeting was organized in the Naugarh Tehsil Auditorium, which was aimed at discussing the irrigation problems related to the bodies and minors and preparing a concrete action plan. Many farmer representatives of the area, farmers union officials and administrative officers were present in this meeting.
Deputy District Magistrate Alok Kumar, Tehsildar Suresh Chandra, Assistant Engineer Bandhi Division Manoj Kumar Patel and other departmental officers were also present in the meeting. The officials listened to the problems of the farmers seriously and assured the necessary action. Also, it was decided that the work of cleaning the drainage and drains would be done in a timely manner so that there is no obstruction in the irrigation system.
Action plan will be sent to the District Magistrate soon
The purpose of the meeting was not only to listen to the problem, but also to prepare a concrete action plan for their solution. After discussing in detail with the farmers, a proposed plan was made, which will be sent to the District Magistrate soon. The scheme includes important points such as repairing the bonds, cleaning of minors and ensuring irrigation water supply from time to time.
