Barabanki News: Late Monday night, there was a stir when a train was derailed in Barabanki district. It was learned that the train going from Bareilly to Banaras has derailed between Safdarganj and Rasauli station. As soon as the news was received, there was chaos in the district administration. The police force of both the Additional Superintendent of Police, ADM and three police stations left for the spot.
Considering the situation serious, preparations for relief and rescue operations were also started immediately. The top officials of the district left for the spot fast. When the investigation was done on the spot, it was revealed that it was not a real accident but a pre -planned mock drill of the Railway Department.
The information was given by Safdarganj railway station master, to which the administration gave quick response. For about an hour, there was confusion that a major railway accident has taken place. Later, when it became clear that it was a mock drill organized to examine preparations in an emergency, the authorities breathed a sigh of relief.
The railway department said that this mock drill was organized to check the departmental preparation and readiness of the local administration in the event of a possible disaster. After the drill was finished, the train was reunited. However, this entire exercise once again proved how fast and promptly the district administration comes into action.
