Chandauli News: An inspirational initiative was taken towards the empowerment of the disabled in a special program organized in the Naugarh development block. In this program held at the Block Development Office campus, free tricycles were distributed to the disabled beneficiaries, which not only brought a smile on their face, but also a new hope of self -sufficiency in their lives.

Block Development Officer Amit Kumar and Block Chief Representative Sujit Kumar alias Suddu Singh jointly distributed tricycles to the beneficiaries. Officials assured from the platform that there will be no way in spreading the benefits of the government’s schemes to the last person of the society.

Block Development Officer Amit Kumar said that the main objective of the ongoing schemes for the disabled at the government level is to give them equal opportunity and respectable life. With a tricycle, the disabled will now feel more easy and freedom in daily tasks.
Panchayati representatives obtained commitment
Block chief representative Sujit Kumar alias Suddu Singh said, “Constant work is being done for the weaker sections of the society even at the panchayat level. It is our endeavor that every eligible person gets the benefit of government scheme and no one is deprived.”
Local villagers increased enthusiasm
A large number of local villagers, panchayat representatives and employees were present in the program. Everyone appreciated this human initiative. The beneficiaries who received a tricycle expressed their happiness and thanked the government and the administration. Panchayat secretary, village head and other personnel played an active role in making the program a success.
