Lucknow News: On Friday, a woman was found to be tied with hands and feet with clothes in Dubgga area of the capital Lucknow. Police reached the information and admitted the woman to the medical college and took a statement and started the investigation. It was being told that Anshu Maurya alias Abhay Maurya, who was jailed for raping the woman, was abducted and raped the woman again and raped her and threw her hands and thrown into the bushes. The police started the investigation after taking the incident seriously after the woman was recovered from the bushes and meanwhile arrested the accused in a few hours. The police team said that on the basis of the information of the informer, the accused was caught near Leelakheda underpass. At the same time, two other accused associated with this case are still absconding.

According to the information received from the police team, the victim lodged a complaint while giving a complaint at Dubgga police station. In her tahrir, the woman had told that she was kidnapped and forcibly hostage in a vehicle under a planned conspiracy and then the incident of rape was carried out. The victim also said that she was abused and assaulted by the accused. On the basis of the complaint, the police took immediate action and filed a case under Section 64/352/79/140 (2)/127 (2)/61 (2) and started investigation. He was arrested on Saturday amidst search of the accused.

After being released on bail, accused Anshu Maurya not only kidnapped the victim but also raped her again by taking her to a secluded place. The accused crossed all limits of cruelty and tied the woman’s hands and feet and threw her into the bushes. The woman remained unconscious, which the villagers saw and informed the police.
