Employees and pensioners increase dearness allowance by 6 percent, approval from cabinet

Da Hike Good News: The dearness allowance being given for the government employee receiving the benefit of the sixth pay commission has been approved by 6% increase. After which, by increasing dearness allowance, 246 percent has reached 252 percent directly.

There has been a lot of good news for all government employees and officials of Jharkhand as well as pensioners. The state government has given a huge gift of Sawan to all the employees pensioners under the Sixth Pay Commission after the Seventh Pay Commission. The government has increased the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners and will be considered to be implemented from January 2025.

6% dearness allowance increased for government employees

A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister in which a total of 27 proposals have been approved. In which 6 percent increase in dearness allowance to government employees receiving the benefit of the most important sixth pay commission has been approved. Now the dearness allowance of these employees has increased from 246 per cent to 252 per cent. Along with this, the revised pay scale has been increased to the Sixth Pay Commission and State Government personnel for pension holders family pensioners.

Employees will be paid arrears

The dearness allowance will be implemented from January 2025. In such a situation, arrears from January to June 2025 will also be given to employees. Following the decision of the cabinet meeting, the ideal of the Finance Department has also been released. This dearness allowance will be done as an increased dearness allowance in the salary received in July, which will be done in August.

Pay Commission allowance was extended in May

Earlier last month itself, the dearness allowance of government employees under the Seventh Pay Commission in the cabinet was increased by two percent in the dearness allowance of pensioners. After this, dearness allowance had increased from 53 percent to 55 percent and the new two has been implemented from January 2025. After this increase in dearness allowance, more than three lakh employees of the state have benefited pension.
