Mumbai There has been a meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and former CM Uddhav Thackeray in a closed room. The meeting took place in the room of Ram Shinde, Chairman of the Legislative Council. Apart from the two leaders, no other room was present in the room. According to sources, discussion between Chief Minister Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray in a closed room for about 10 minutes. However, the information about the discussion held in this meeting has not been revealed yet.
Before the meeting in the closed room, Uddhav Thackeray along with his MLA son Aditya Thackeray met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde. During this meeting, Uddhav Thackeray presented Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ram Shinde a book of compilation of editorial and column written by different editors in the context of Marathi language and Hindi mandatory.
It is being told that there was a discussion between Uddhav Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis regarding the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Tribhasha formula and Hindi imperative. Why is Hindi mandatory? This book was given by Uddhav Thackeray to Devendra Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis asked Uddhav Thackeray to give this book to Narendra Jadhav, the chairman of the committee. The post of Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly is the authority of the Speaker of the Assembly, but the post of Leader of Opposition is still not being given. In this regard, Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray discussed with the Chief Minister in the Antichmber. Some MLAs of Thackeray’s Shiv Sena were also present on the occasion.
Earlier on Wednesday, Fadnavis said that Uddhav Thackeray “can come in a different way in the ruling party.” Addressing the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said that there is no scope for BJP to enter opposition by 2029. Fadnavis said, “There is no scope to come there (opposition) by at least 2029. Uddhav ji can think about the scope of coming to this side (ruling party) and it can be considered differently, but there is no scope for us (opposition) to come there.” Let me tell you that the alliance of Shiv Sena and BJP was till 2019, but after winning the election, there were differences between the two parties over the post of Chief Minister and the alliance between the two parties broke. Uddhav left the BJP and formed a government by joining hands with the Congress.
