Inspection of villages and suspicious sites connected with Indo-Nepal border
SP Ghanshyam Chaurasia said that in view of Sawan Mela and security arrangements, he has inspected villages and suspicious sites associated with the Indo-Nepal border on Saturday. He said that concerted efforts are being made to thwart any possible criminal activities through intensive checking operations, continuous patrolling and combing on the border.
He said that strategic checking points have been set up with the Nepal Police and SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) to maintain activism in the border area. At the same time, security arrangements are being made more attentive based on intelligence input, so that criminal activities can be completely curbed. The police stations, posts and SSB police forces of the concerned area have been instructed to guard the border by coordinating among themselves. During this, the SP also inspected the police station Malipur and Jamunha Chowki, and directed to take special care of cleanliness by inspecting the office, restaurant, barrack and campus.
