Lucknow News: Beautification on Gomti River Front and a new chapter of civil facilities will start soon. Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Vice President Pratham Kumar has inspected the river front on Saturday and directed to start various development works at a cost of about Rs 11 crore. This work will be done on a stretch of about 380 meters long from ADCP office to Pipraghat. So far there is a provision of entry from only two places on the River Front between Lohia Setu to the ADCP office.
Health environment for citizens
Now keeping in mind the increasing number of visitors, admission and withdrawal facilities will be developed at five places. The region will arrange modern jogging tracks, gazebo, yoga hut, open gym, better landscaping and energy efficient lighting. The LDA vice -president informed that funds are being provided by the Housing Development Council for the work from the infrastructure fund. The purpose of these tasks is not only to make the river front attractive, but also to provide health environment, convenient entertainment site to the citizens.
500 meter long jogging track will be made
Under the development works, the peacock lawn will get a new form. About 500 meters long jogging track will be built here, which will give better experience to those walking in the morning and evening on the Marine Drive. Apart from this, modern toilet blocks will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 28 lakh for the convenience of visitors under the Marine Drive near the CO office. Work is underway to make the river front more attractive to families, senior citizens, fitness lovers and tourists.

According to LDA officials, the target is to complete the tasks within the stipulated time limit so that the common man can get the benefit soon. For this, LDA employees are working fast. The river front built on the banks of the Gomti River is not just the suit of the city, but is moving towards becoming an important part of the routine of citizens. With the completion of this project, the residents of Lucknow will get another well -organized and aesthetic public place. Whose construction work is expected to start soon.
