Poor Family in Mainpuri Lives in Broken Hut During Rain, Deprived of Government Aid | Mainpuri News: बरसात में झोपड़ी में रह रहा एक परिवार, सरकारी मदद से वंचित

Mainpuri News: A poor family is forced to stay in a dilapidated hut during the rainy season in Mazra Nagla Dhakare of Uncha Islamabad, a village panchayat of Kishni development block of Mainpuri district. Umesh, the head of the family, said that there was a raw house at the time of his father, but after his death he too collapsed due to rain. Since then the whole family has been living a temporary hut and spending life in it.

The condition of the hut is very bad, the family’s life is in danger

The family’s hut is so dilapidated that living in the rainy season is not free from danger. The water drips from the roof, which resorts to the family tin sheets and plastic sheets to avoid. On the nights of rain, family members wake up all night and protect themselves, because they are afraid that the hut does not fall.

Family is deprived of government schemes

The family has neither ration card, nor has they got the benefit of any concrete government scheme. Only a gas connection has been received under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme, but it is not possible to fill it due to the high price of gas cylinders. The family is also struggling for drinking water and other everyday needs.

No help was found despite complaints

The family has complained to the village head and secretary about their problems several times. Every time the officials take the photo and go away with assurance, but so far there was no concrete help. The situation of the hut gets worse during the rain, due to which the family has to spend the nights under the open sky.

The reality of administration plans exposed

The matter highlights the real status of those schemes of governance and administration, which are active on papers, but are not able to reach the needy at the ground level. Now the thing to see will be whether the administration takes care of this family or not.
