Lucknow News: The historic Hazratganj market of the capital Lucknow will soon be seen in a new form. Uniformity will be brought in the buildings, signage, electric poles and street furniture, so that the market can get a beautiful, well -organized and heritage look. In this regard, an important meeting was held on Monday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Visakh ji, in which representatives of LDA, Municipal Corporation, Jalakal, Public Works Department, Metro Rail and Trade Board were present.

Consent on beautification work

In this meeting, it was decided that the color and design of Hazratganj buildings, signage, bollard, electric poles and other construction elements would be uniform under the Fasad Control Guideline. LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar said that only minor changes will be made in the current color scheme in the buildings of the market, which will give the area a heritage look. This will make Hazratganj more attractive not only for the citizens but also for tourists.

Appeal to cooperation from traders

The District Magistrate has appealed to the traders to remove uncontrolled hoardings and organize their buildings and signage as per rules. Representatives of the Board of Trade assured the authority to give full support and follow the guidelines. LDA Vice President Pratham Kumar, LDA Secretary Vivek Srivastava, Chief Engineer Navneet Sharma, Executive Engineer Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Public Works Department Officer were present in this meeting.
