Bulandshahr News: In Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, major action has been taken against a clerk (clerk) posted in the Collectorate on charges of taking bribe in the name of making freedom fighter fighter dependent certificates. District Magistrate Shruti has suspended Sagar Tomar accused of corruption and affiliated to Tehsil Sadar. This action has stirred up government departments.
What is the whole matter?
Sagar Tomar was working as freedom fighter fighter clerk from 29 June 2022 to 17 March 2025. It is alleged that during this time he took a bribe of ₹ 30,000 in the name of making freedom fighter dependent certificate from an educated unemployed youth Vimal Kumar. This transaction has also been confirmed through WhatsApp chat.
It was reported that Sagar Tomar used to do this conversation often on WhatsApp and was working as a junior assistant in the collectorate. Taking the matter seriously, District Magistrate Shruti has suspended him with immediate effect.
The responsibility of investigation entrusted to the City Magistrate
The Municipal Magistrate has been appointed for a thorough investigation into the case. The District Magistrate has directed that the charge sheet should be prepared on the basis of the relevant records and also investigated how many fake certificates have been issued by Sagar Tomar during his tenure.
Big disclosure of breach in quota
Special quota is determined in government service and higher education for dependents of freedom fighters. But in the name of getting the benefit of this quota, the fraud of making fake certificates by taking bribe has come to light.
