Mathura News: An important meeting was organized in the auditorium of Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad for the preparations for Lord Krishna Janmotsav 2025. The meeting was chaired by the state’s Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Minister Shri Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary. Many important decisions were taken to give a grand and historical look to the festival of Janmashtami in the meeting. Sri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with grandeur on 16 August 2025 this year. Under this, 5100 lamps will be ignited at Vishram Ghat, which will make the entire area drenched with divine aura.
Special electrical decorations and lighting will be made at 20 major intersections and ghats of the district. 17 selfie points will be installed in the city of Mathura, which will attract devotees and tourists. Under the Shri Krishna Janmotsav, there will be cultural presentations at 5 big forums, including Panchajanya Auditorium, O.A.T. Rasakhan Samadhi, O.A.T. Parsauli Chandra Sarovar, Sri Krishna’s birthplace Leela Manch and OAT The Gita Research Institute Vrindavan is prominent. Apart from this, cultural presentations of Braj will also be organized on 20 small forums.
Special decorations and electric lighting of major temples will be made by the Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad. A procession will be organized from Sri Krishna’s birthplace, in which 325 artists from 25 groups will participate. 6 grand entrances will be built on the route of the procession. A painting camp based on Shri Krishna’s pastimes is also proposed in the Government Museum. On this occasion, Vice President of Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad, Mr. Shailaja Kant Mishra, Mathura Mayor Mr. Vinod Aggarwal, MLA Mr. Puran Prakash, and senior officials of the concerned departments were present.
