Premanand ji maharaj: When love is connected to God in childhood, then he becomes a dedication, not devotion. Saint Premanand Maharaj, the saint of Vrindavan’s Shri Hit Radha Kelikunj Ashram, is going to take the form of a temple in the form of a temple, which was in the childhood. The Sadhana Bhoomi of Sainmasi village located in Sarsaul block of Kanpur countryside, where Maharaja had meditated for four years as a teenager Brahmachari. It is now being developed as a grand temple of Sriradharani. The information about the construction of the temple has filled the entire region with devotion and pride. The people of the village are saying that ‘Where once the child Premanand called Radharani, now Radharani himself will sit there.’
Premanand Maharaj’s emotional connection with Sainmasi village
Shri Premanand Maharaj is famous for Radha devotion and spiritual consciousness in the country and the world today. But his spiritual journey started from a rural temple, which is now moving towards becoming a Dharmasthali. At the age of 13, he left Akhari village in Narwal tehsil of Kanpur countryside and reached Sainmasi village. He spent four years of his initial practice at the Devra Mata temple located here. In the Devra Mata temple, Maharaj ji got the guidance of the then chief saint Mahant Ganeshanand Swami. The villagers also gave him affection and service by considering him as a member of his family. This is the reason that this land of cultivation became in his heart.
Four years of penance and then expansion of Radhava
After intensive practice for four years in Sainmasi, he left for Braj Bhoomi and later Sri Hit Radha Kelikunj Ashram was established in Vrindavan. But a piece of his soul was left in the soil of the village, from where this Radhabhakti Yatra started. On 1 July 2025, Vishnudatta Awasthi alias Munna Bhaiya, former head of Sainmsi village, received a call from Premanand Maharaj from the ashram in Vrindavan. He expressed his desire to build a grand temple of Shri Radharani on the same spiritual land of childhood. On July 2, 20 people from the village, including the former head, reached Vrindavan and met Maharaj ji. It was decided to build the temple in a secluded talks there.
Formation of Devra Mata Temple Trust and Land Registry
The Devra Mata Temple Trust was formed with the inspiration of Maharaj Ji. Under this, a quarter of a half bigha land was also duly registered in the name of the trust. It is not only spiritual, but also from legal point of view that the temple construction is a solid foundation, according to the information received, the form of the temple will be in the traditional Brajshala. In which the statue of Radharani is also proposed with the statue of the story auditorium, the devotee residence, the practice room and the service center. This temple will not only be the place of worship, but will also become a medium to spread the values of love, dedication and service to the people.

After the announcement of the temple construction, there is a festive atmosphere in Sammasi village. The villagers have resolved to cooperate with great enthusiasm.
