Bahraich News: In the entire state, cases of love jihad and love trap are constantly coming up, now a shocking case has also come up in Bahraich. Some Muslim youths living in Bahraich are accused of abducting two Hindu boys and beaten badly, forcibly urinating on asking for water and also raised slogans of ‘Islam Zindabad’. This incident is related to the opposition of an organized ‘Love Trap’ gang being run to trap Hindu women.
15 to 16 Muslim youths have been accused by the victim youths from Mirzapur in Bahraich’s police station Ramgaon area, Chandan alias Shivam Maurya, resident of Khalebagh and Dasarathapur resident Mohit alias Vikas Maurya. He said that Shahabuddin, a resident of Baukaha in Mahsi, Anas, a resident of Tamachpur and Zeeshan, a resident of Nagar Kotwali Bahraich, run a gang to trap Hindu women. They also have a WhatsApp group in which the age, number and other information of Hindu girls are shared, after which Facebook and Instagram ID, named Hindu, are tried to implicate Hindu girls.
Mohit and Chandan told that about two months ago, they and his comrades had received information about the gang, which they had opposed. At that time, there was a reconciliation in the police station, but in the same enmity, these people along with many of their colleagues kidnapped him. The victims said that they had somehow saved their lives, but the way they were beaten, urinated and forcibly raised slogans of ‘Islam Zindabad’, they are unable to get out of this shock. He has warned that if strict action is not taken against the accused, they will commit suicide.
Case filed in serious sections
In the case, Additional Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad Tiwari said that a case has been registered under serious sections including attempt to murder on the basis of Tahrir of the victims and three youths have been sent to jail. He assured that every angle is being investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits. This incident can cause communal stress and resentment in the region.
