Lucknow News: The much awaited preliminary examination of Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was conducted peacefully on Sunday. 129 examination centers were set up for 61,512 candidates in the capital Lucknow. This exam ran from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. According to the candidates who appeared in the examination, the question paper of General Studies (GS) was difficult.

A total of 150 multiple choice questions in the exam

Questions based on the subjects related to the Constitution, Uttar Pradesh and contemporary events kept the candidates entangled. A total of 150 multiple choice questions were asked in this examination. Where negative marking of 1/3 marks was prescribed on each wrong answer. State -of -the -art techniques were used to maintain security and transparency in the examination. On behalf of the District Magistrate’s Office, the examination centers were monitored through Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Monitoring of exam through CCTV

The examination was monitored at all centers through live CCTV streaming. District Magistrate Visakh ji Iyer and Joint Police Commissioner Bablu Kumar inspected the examination centers and took stock of the arrangements. The admission process was also strict. Examiners were admitted to the centers between 8:00 am and 8:45 am. After this, the candidates who were reached were not allowed to enter the examination center. Due to this strictly some candidates were upset and the exam was missed. The administration preferred discipline and seriousness of time.

Students lying at railway station and bus stations

A large number of candidates from various districts of the state reached Lucknow to appear in the examination. Due to the examination on Sunday, most of the candidates reached Lucknow on Saturday evening. But due to lack of adequate stay, many candidates had to spend the night around the railway station and bus bases. Many candidates were seen sleeping at the platform and bus stand. The lack of housing and convenience for the candidates coming from far and wide was once again seen opening the system.
