An Air India spokesperson said that on tuesday, flight number ai 315, frying from hong kong to delhi, Caught fire in the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Immeditely after Landing and Parking AT the Gatie. The incident Haappened when the passengers are started Disembarking. As soon as the fire broke out, the apu automatically shut down as per the system design.

Along with this, air India said that the plane has sufered some damage due to the fire. However, the passengers and crew members Disembarked Normally and are safe. The plane has been stopped for further investigation and the regulator has been informed about the fire.
