Varanasi News: Police has initiated strict action against such dhabas along the highway in Gomti Zone, which illegally park customers’ vehicles on the road. These dhabas do not have any parking system of their own, and they not only obstruct traffic by parked on the highway, but have also caused many road accidents in which they have died in the past.
Action taken against dhabas illegally parking on the highway
Another serious problem of these dhabas is that their condition is very close to the airport boundary. In some cases, it has been observed that people stand on their roofs and start looking at the planes, which threatens the security of the airport. An objection has been lodged by the security agencies in this subject and the dhaba operators were warned several times, but despite that their activities did not improve.
Taking the situation seriously, the police station Phulpur has filed a case against the operators of Vivek Mishthan Bhandar, Tea Water Shop and Ganpati Restaurant located on Jaunpur Road NH56, including:
1. Vivek Gupta son Anil Gupta, resident of Raghunathpur, Varanasi (Vivek Mishthan Bhandar)
2. Sanjay Gupta son Hanuman Gupta, resident of Raghunathpur, Varanasi (tea water shop)
3. Vishnunand Yadav son Jayaprakash Yadav, resident of Chutapur, Thana Bhimpura, District Ballia (Ganpati Restaurant)
Further, cases will be filed against the dhaba owners in all the police station areas. If even after this, similar chaos and negligence are revealed, more strict action will be taken, including sealing dhabas and other legal punishment.
