AI’s London-Ahmedabad flight canceled, three aircraft malfunctions in two days

Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad-London flight of Air India (Air India’s) has been canceled due to technical glitch. This is the same route on which AI-171 crashed. According to the information, Air India’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft AI-159 was to leave from Ahmedabad at 1.10 pm. Its arrival time was told at 6.25 pm. In the last two days, technical problems were seen in three Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. First Air India AI315 (Hong Kong to Delhi) returned to the middle flight due to suspected technical fault. After this, the flight coming from San Francisco to Mumbai had to stay in Kolkata and the Ahmedabad-London flight had to be canceled.

A passenger from Ahmedabad to Gatwick, London flight AI-159 said that I was going to Gatvik in London from Air India flight at 1 pm, but I came to know that the flight has been canceled. Crew members could not give any information about the flight cancellation or no information about the return. The relative of a passenger said that we have been told that today’s flight has been canceled and it will leave at 11 am tomorrow. All the passengers are upset here. An engine of Air India flight from San Francisco to Mumbai malfunction
Earlier, an engine of Air India flight from San Francisco to Mumbai had a technical fault on Tuesday. Due to this, passengers had to take down during the scheduled halt of the aircraft at Kolkata airport. The Dreamliner aircraft AI 180 (12.45 pm) reached the airport, but the flight delayed due to technical fault in the left engine. All the passengers were asked to land from the aircraft at around 5.20 am. The captain of the aircraft told the passengers that the decision was taken in terms of flight security.

An atmosphere of fear after Ahmedabad accident
The airline had to be canceled at a time when the Air India aircraft flying from Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport in Ahmedabad to London’s Gatwick Airport five days before flying AI-171, collided with the hostel building of BJ Medical College, a few seconds after flying AI-171. The crashed Air India aircraft were riding 242 people, including 230 passengers, 10 cabin crew members and two pilots. All except British citizen Vishwas Kumar Ramesh died.

Air India Dreamliner aircraft coming to Delhi failed
Earlier on the previous day, Air India flight AI315, going from Hong Kong to Delhi, had to return to its original place after suspicion of technical problem in the middle flight itself. The flight AI315, operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, left for Delhi from Hong Kong. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft is being used by Air India in India.

Flight coming from London to Chennai on Sunday also had problems
On Sunday too, the British Airways flight, which left for Chennai (India) from Heathro Hawai base in London, felt technical problem a few minutes after flying. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flew a delay of 36 minutes at 1:16 pm (British time), but at an altitude of about 15,000 feet, pilots found indications of disturbances in the flap system. Under the safety protocol, the aircraft made several rounds while roaming the holding pattern above the Gulf of the Dover. Meanwhile, the aircraft stood at 12,000 feet for about 30 minutes and additional fuel was dropped in the air for safe landing, so that weight could be reduced. A total of about an hour 45 minutes later, the aircraft made a safe landing on Heathro’s runway. All passengers and crew were taken off safely.
