Tamanna of the Muslim community and Chandan Maurya of the Hindu community vowed to live with each other by marrying Hindu customs in the temple. Tamanna changed her name to Tanu Maurya, which has become a topic of discussion in the region.
It is known that Tamanna daughter Anwar Ahmed and Chandan Maurya son Seshanath Maurya, resident of Ramapur in Phulpur tehsil, were going on for the last 3 years. A year ago both of them had court marriage.
On May 30, the lover couple escaped from the house, after which Tamanna’s family lodged a complaint at Didarganj police station. Police recovered both of them on 1 July.
After seeing the documents of the court marriage, the police banned the two families to maintain peace, as both are adults and their marriage is legally valid.
On Saturday, Tamanna adopted Hinduism for love and married Hindu customs with sandalwood at Maksudia ancient Shiva temple of Phulpur tehsil. During this time Tamanna’s family was not present on the spot.

This marriage has proved by the victory of mutual harmony and love in the field, which remains the subject of discussion. Didarganj Police Station Rakesh Kumar Singh said that both families belong to the same village and there was a dispute earlier.
Both sides were banned due to the possibility of breach of peace. He said that the marriage of the lover couple is legal and it is necessary to follow it.
