Azamgarh: SP MP Afzal Ansari Attacks BJP, Calls it ‘Clever’; Urges SP Workers to Prepare for Upcoming Elections | Azamgarh News: सपा सांसद अफजाल अंसारी का तीखा हमला, भाजपा चालाक है

Azamgarh News: Ghazipur MP and senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Afzal Ansari today encouraged SP workers in view of preparations for 2027 assembly elections in Azamgarh district. MP Ansari was speaking as the chief guest in the ‘Reservation Day’ and ‘Constitution Mann Pillar’ program organized by the SP in the Nehru Hall Auditorium.

Taking a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said that in the last 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP was reduced to only 163 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. He said that 204 out of 403 seats are required to win the assembly elections, while the Samajwadi Party gained 271 assembly seats during the Lok Sabha elections.

Afzal Ansari called upon the workers to maintain this lead in the upcoming assembly elections. He insisted that we do not have to lose our seats, but more and more people have to be associated with them. For this, he advised the people of backward and Dalit society to continuously meet and communicate with them.

He said that many people want to come with the Samajwadi Party. Commenting on the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), he said that efforts are being made to manage the BSP, but BSP has deviated from the path of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram. Ansari said that despite having 22 percent of the Dalit votes, the BSP got only 11 percent of the votes in the last election.

Explaining the BJP as “very clever”, Afzal Ansari said that it meets the people and spreads the rumor that “Yadav Raj” will come when the SP wins. In such a situation, he emphasized the need to explain the workers of other backward classes that SP takes all sections along. She also reminded that in the last assembly elections, Subhaspa was with the Samajwadi Party, but she was with the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, yet the SP won.

MP Afzal Ansari warned the workers that they would have to work carefully in the upcoming village head and panchayat elections. He referred to Kanshi Ram’s slogan “Whose participation as his participation” on reservation and said that the Samajwadi Party is moving forward with this principle. He called upon the workers to gear up from now on for the 2027 election.
