Baghpat News: Baraut, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: The recruitment process of four assistant professors was done peacefully on Sunday at Digambar Jain Degree College, Baraut. These posts included two of Commerce (Commerce), one of Mathematics and one of Library Science (Library Science). The interview has been concluded at a time when there were serious allegations of irregularity and corruption on this recruitment process.
A total of 22 posts were started in the college from November 15, 2023, including 14 different subjects. In the first phase, interviews for eight subjects were completed. However, some disputes came to light during the recruitment process, when the college managing committee secretary Jinendra Kumar Jain, Digambar Jain High School Association member Narendra Kumar Jain and Baraut Jan Samaj Samiti member Ashok Kumar filed a complaint of irregularity and corruption. After this complaint, the recruitment process was stopped for some time. Later, the recruitment process for 17 posts was completed and now on Sunday, the recruitment process for the remaining four posts was completed.
Procedure under strict supervision of subject experts:
On the orders of the Vice Chancellor, the recruitment process was conducted under strict supervision of subject experts from Bhopal, Delhi, Indore and Meerut. The presence of experts was ensured to maintain the transparency of the process, so that there is no scope for any kind of irregularity.
Currently on the subject of economics:
The subject of economics has not been interviewed at the moment, as a case has been filed by a candidate in the High Court Allahabad. The court’s decision in this case is awaited.
Police force deployed in college campus:
During the recruitment process, a heavy police force was deployed in the college campus to maintain possible disputes and peace. This could avoid any untoward incident and the interview process could be done smoothly.
