Baghpat News: A sensational case has come to light from Ekta Colony in the old town of the district, where a young man was overshadowed to meet his girlfriend. Amidst the wedding atmosphere, the young man’s family caught red handed. After this, the young man was beaten fiercely and was publicly humiliated in the entire locality by tying him to ropes. The video of this entire incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, causing a stir in the area.
He was beaten up like animals
The incident is said to be during the turmeric ceremony. The girl’s family caught the young man and beat her brutally and then tied her like animals and performed publicly. In the viral video, the vandalism with the young man can be clearly seen.
Police told
On receiving the information of the same incident, the police reached the spot and took stock of the situation. CO Baghpat Shrestha Thakur said that, “This case is of Ekta Colony. There has been a dispute between two sides. The house where the marriage was taking place, the incident of assault took place. The victim’s brother has given a complaint to the police station that his brother was coming from the market, then some people stopped him on the way and assaulted him.”
The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint of the victim side and advance action is being taken. Along with this, viral videos are also being investigated so that strict action can be taken against the culprits.
