Baghpat News: Troubled due to lack of solution of farmers’ problems in the District Cooperative Bank in Baraut, Baghpat, he stayed in the bank till late evening. Later, the police reached the farmers and talked to the Meerut officials of the bank. The farmers then returned.
Actually, the last date for submission of crop loans is 30 June. Because of this, the District Cooperative Bank was open to farmers on Sunday so that they could deposit their loan. The farmers reached the bank in large numbers at around four o’clock, but their loan could not be deposited till late evening. The farmers alleged that their receipt was not deducted if the facility fee was not paid. June 30 is the last date for the government to deposit money.
Farmers said that they were called by MD to the District Cooperative Bank. The problem was not resolved till late evening. Farmers said that farmers are being exploited by MD in Baba Yogi Adityanath’s government. Farmers will not tolerate exploitation. Police reached the bank at around nine o’clock on information. He made the farmers talk on the phone with the bank officials of Meerut, GM Vinay Kumar.
Farmers Ashish Tomar, Upendra Tomar, Bablu Tomar, Jasvir Tomar, Devendra Kumar, Bijendra etc. told that GM has assured them to deposit loans on the morning of June 30. The farmers returned on this assurance. At the same time, the manager of the bank branch Nitish Bhardwaj called the charge of demanding facility fee as baseless.
