Baghpat News: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Sunheda village of Khekra police station area of Baghpat district. Ajay, the head constable of UP Police, was shot dead. Mohit is accused of this sensational murder, Mohit, a government primary school teacher living in the village. Both, Ajay and Mohit were posted in Saharanpur. According to the information, there was a dispute between the two about playing cricket in the village a few days ago, which caused this gruesome incident.
The incident is being reported late at night when Ajay, the head constable in Sunheda village, was shot. He died on the spot after being shot. On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. In view of the seriousness of the entire case, high officials have ordered an inquiry. After the murder, the police intensified the search for the absconding teacher Mohit.
On Tuesday morning, an encounter took place between the police and the accused in the forest of Sunheda village of Khekra Kotwali area. In this encounter, teacher Mohit was shot in both legs. The injured accused is immediately admitted to the hospital. Police have also recovered the pistol and cartridges used in the incident from the accused during the encounter.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Baghpat, Suraj Kumar Rai said that the accused had deliberately murdered the head constable Ajay and now legal action is being taken against him. He said that the murder accused has been caught after the encounter and weapons have also been recovered from him. The legal process continues and strict action will be taken against it. The strict action of the police against the criminals will continue further.
