Balrampur News: A embarrassing and shocking incident at Vimala Vikram Hospital located in Pachpedwa police station area of Balrampur district has put the entire area in a can. A 28 -year -old woman, who went to the hospital for treatment due to complaints of fever and weakness, was raped by nursing staff and unconscious.
What is the matter?
The victim, who is a resident of Gasdi area, reached the hospital on Friday 25 July when the health deteriorated. Since her husband went to work, she came alone for treatment. The doctor started treatment by admitted to a room. Meanwhile, a person named Yogesh Pandey, working as a nursing staff in the hospital, fainted the victim on the pretext of injuring.
As soon as the woman’s eyes opened, she was in a state of pain, fear and shock. His clothes were disturbed and the body was trembling. She somehow managed to take himself out of the hospital and reached the police station directly and informed the police about the incident.
Police action
On the complaint of the woman, a case under Section 64 (2) E and 123 BNS of the IPC was immediately booked in police station Pachpedwa. On the instructions of SP Vikas Kumar, a joint team of ASP Vishal Pandey, CO Brijanandan Rai, and station in -charge Om Prakash Chauhan arrested the accused from near the Bhartha bridge on Sunday.
What did the accused confess?
During interrogation, accused Yogesh Pandey, while confessing his crime, said that he was on duty in the night shift and when the rest of the staff went out of the ward, his intentions deteriorated. He fainted the woman by injection and raped her. When the woman came to her senses and protested, she escaped from the spot due to fear.
