Banda News: Banda: Gudiya Devi wife Ramkripan Pandey and her entire family were attacked in a planned manner in Gram Panchayat Shivhad of Girwan police station area. The opposition first dropped the wall of his house and then attacked with sticks. Gudiya Devi suffered a serious injury to the spinal cord and has been admitted to the trauma center of the district hospital.
Ramkripan Pandey, husband of Gudiya Devi, her four minor daughters and Jethani were also injured in the incident. According to family members, everyone was killed with the intention of killing him, and the children were not spared.
Gudiya Devi said that she was approved to build houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but the opposition Ramkishore, Brijesh, Chhotalal, Brijbhan and Chandraprakash were constantly obstructing the construction and wanting to forcibly capture their land. On July 17, these people forcibly attacked the wall and attacked them.
Trying to suppress the case
The victim says that she has pleaded for justice from the District Magistrate, SDM Atra, Girwan Police Station, Khurhand Chowki, Superintendent of Police, and even Sadar MLA for the last two and a half years, but every time only dates and assurances were received. Applications were given several times before the attack, FIR was demanded, but the police did not file a report. The FIR was finally lodged on July 18, but despite a serious attack, only in minor sections, which the family is considering the police trying to suppress the case.
On July 18, the entire family reached the DM and SP office in the injured state, but there was no hearing there either. Family members said, “Returned from the gate like every time, no officer even talked.” Gudiya Devi has demanded immediate arrest of all the accused, police security, and strict action against those who obstruct the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The incident raises a deep question on the sensitivity of the district administration and police, because despite constant complaints, no action was taken in time, nor any prevention – and now the whole family is in the hospital, deprived of justice.
