Banda News: A shocking case has come to light from Banda railway station, where a private person, Ashok Gautam, has been running a pump house for the last 15 years. While the responsibility of two railway employees was, both of them are resting from their homes in Jhansi and Lucknow as the official employees of the railway and Ashok Gautam is doing real work without any favor.
Ashok Gautam, who is not a railway employee, is earning just Rs 12,000 by doing 12 hours of duty every month. The shocking thing on this is that the real railway employees entrusted this responsibility to him and did this work by paying Rs 6,000 from his pocket. However, it is all indiscipline and direct misuse of government resources.
Ashok Gautam, who is the father of seven daughters, suggests that he did all this in the beginning as a watchman, but gradually he was given the responsibility of running the pump and the salary was also increased. However, he did not get any benefit or rights. Despite the 12-hour duty, he gets a very minor amount, which is not enough to raise his family.
This case is not only a violation of government rules, but it can also be a huge threat to government property and functions. How did the department not know that real employees are not coming on duty and a unauthorized person is working?
Senior officials of the Railway Department have promised to investigate the matter, and talked about action against the culprits.

“I have been working here for the last 15 years, and in return I get only ₹ 12,000. Initially I was kept as a watchman, but when I learned to run the pump, I was given more responsibility.”
