Banda news: BJP’s Sadar MLA Prakash Chandra Dwivedi is once again seen in controversies in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. The enthusiasm of power and political Bahubali of power has often been dragged into controversies to Banda Sadar MLA, and once again he is seen threatening the SDM of another assembly constituency on a mobile phone. In the viral video, MLA SDM can be heard threatening to “teach jobs” and “see”, as well as looting accolades by giving speeches among his supporters. This case is related to Baberu Assembly of Banda, where a dilapidated action was taken by the administration on a dilapidated building of Krishak Seva Samiti. Rajendra Prasad Pandey had been living in one part of this building for the last 26 years, and there was also a case with the Central Farmers Service Cooperative Society regarding his residence. However, the trial was dismissed on 5 December 2016 and the case went on hold.
Recently, the secretary of Additional District Cooperative Services Society arrived with Bulldozer and started the action to demolish the dilapidated building. Protests started at the local level. In view of the sensitivity of the case, SDM Baberu Rajat Sharma sent Tehsildar Gaurav Kumar to the spot with the police force and the building was demolished while maintaining peace. The police took the protesting Ajay Kumar Pandey in custody and sat in the police station.
The affected side informed Banda Sadar MLA Prakash Chandra Dwivedi about this entire incident. At the same time, he accused BJP’s District Panchayat President Sunil Patel of being a hand behind this action. The MLA then reached Baberu with his supporters, where he inspected the spot and reprimanded the employees. After this, he also reprimanded SDM Rajat Sharma on the phone and said in a threatening tone, “Will teach you to do a job, see you, this promise is mine”.
In the viral video, the MLA is also seen describing the District Magistrate as useless. At the same time, SDM and district administration are telling the administration as part of a “campaign”. The question arises that what is the morality and rights of an assembly MLA to go to another assembly and talk like threatening the SDM and teaching jobs? The MLA can only tell this question better.
