Barabanki News: Pooja, a student of Inter of Agehra village under Sirauligauspur tehsil of Barabanki district, has become an inspiration for millions of students today. Schhappar Numa stayed at home and reached Japan due to her experiment and passion in the science of worship and has returned to India there. But the irony is that the girl who illuminated the name of the country on the international stage still has neither electricity nor toilets.
Pooja’s success story is equally worrying as inspiring. Pooja’s father Puttilal works as a laborer and mother Sunila Devi is a kitchen in a government school. The house is small, which is made up of weeds. Pooja, along with five siblings, lives in this house. Even today, the light of the lamp becomes support for studies. It is being told that the electricity connection and toilet have been approved by the District Magistrate, the electricity meter has also reached home, but there is no money to buy cables from pillars to home. The economic situation is so weak that the parents of Pooja could not buy it either. Due to this, electricity could not come in the house yet.
Pooja is not only a student, but also in domestic responsibilities. She, along with her siblings, does fodder, performs animal care and other domestic work. It was not easy for him to take time for studies, but he never gave up.
Pooja got the first recognition when she made a science model while studying in class 8 – a thresher machine. The school had trouble with the dust flying from the thresher machine, which took inspiration to make Pooja a model with the help of tin and fan, which used to accumulate flying dust in a bag. This model was not only safe for the environment but can also prove to be extremely useful for farmers.
He spent about 3 thousand rupees to make this model, which was a huge amount for his family. In the year 2020, this model was selected at the district and mandal level, then reached the state level exhibition and eventually the National Science Fair. In the year 2024, the model of worship was also selected at the National Science Fair organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Please tell that Pooja was sent to Japan in June 2025 for educational tour by the Government of India. There he not only praised his models and ideas, but also proved that talent is not interested in resources. After returning from Japan Yatra, Pooja now dreams of teaching the poor children of his village and showing them the way to move forward.
The story of Pooja is not just inspiration but also on the system that the girl who has illuminated the name of the country at an international level is still facing basic facilities. There is a demand of the people and aware citizens of the district that the administration should provide proper resources and necessary facilities to this talent as soon as possible, so that the flight of worship can be increased.
