Bareilly news: A woman made her brother -in -law a victim of cheating of Rs 14 lakh by pretending to sell land to her brother -in -law. It is alleged that the woman along with her son stabbed the money from the brother -in -law and then sold the same land to another person. In this case, the victim has lodged an FIR against the sister -in -law and nephew in Mirganj Kotwali.
What is the whole matter?
The victim Hafeez Ulla Malik, who is a resident of Shaheen Bagh in Jamia Nagar, Delhi and works in the police department, told in the Tahrir in Mirganj Kotwali that he had signed a four -bigha land deal with his elder brother Samee Ulla (resident – village Mandanpur, Thana Mirganj) for Rs 14 lakh. At the time of the deal, one lakh rupees cash advance (earnest) was also given and in the remaining amount installments, online was transferred to the accounts of her brother’s wife Amina Begum and nephew Shahanshah Raza. A total of 13 lakh 85 thousand rupees were paid online.
Revealed on the day of Banama
According to Hafeez Ulla Malik, the date of land was fixed in June 2025. In this connection, he took leave on 9 June and came to the village. But sister-in-law and brother did not get the banama done for four-five consecutive days. When he himself took out the information, it was found that the said land has already been sold in January 2025.
When Hafeez spoke to his sister -in -law, brother and nephew about this fraud, he was abusive and threatened to kill him. After this, he lodged a report in Mirganj Kotwali, following a legal path.
Police started investigation
Police station head of Mirganj Prayagraj Singh said that a case has been registered against accused Amina Begum and her son Shahanshah Raza under sections of fraud, threats and criminal conspiracy. The police have started investigation and teams have been formed to arrest the accused. He said that soon the accused will be arrested.
