Bareilly news: Bareilly. In view of the faith of Shiva devotees in the month of Shravan, the preparations for the Kandar Yatra are being finalized. On Saturday, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya inspected the Rampur border near Labhari police post in Mirganj area. He reviewed the security system and reviewed the preparations for the journey route.

The SSP gave strict instructions to the officials that no devotee should have any problem during the Kandar Yatra. He said that the police and administration will be responsible for this. Special arrangements were asked for security, cleanliness and ease.

Instructions for deployment of police pickets

During inspection, instructions were given to convert dhabas in Fatehganj Western toll plaza area into temporary catering centers, cleanliness and ensure provision of drinking water. Along with this, instructions were also given for regular monitoring of CCTV cameras, repair of poor cameras, one-way traffic system and deployment of police pickets.

It was also asked to maintain the condition of the resting sites of Mirganj area and make proper arrangements for shadow, water and medical facilities there. The SSP, especially the emphasis on ensuring the deployment of women police forces at sensitive sites to protect women devotees.

Bareilly police ready

SSP Anurag Arya clarified that the Bareilly police is fully prepared to make the Kandar Yatra safe, peaceful and organized. All police in -charge have been instructed to work in alert mode.

During the inspection, several other police officers including Superintendent of Police Manush Parik, Anshika Verma, SP Traffic Mohammad Akmal Khan, CO Anjani Kumar Tiwari, CO LIU and SO Prayagraj Singh were present.
