India vs england: The Test match played between India and England at the Old Trafford ground in Manchester ended on a draw. On the last day of this match (27 July) Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar batted brilliantly and deprived England from victory. Jadeja was not out after scoring 107 runs and Sundar 101 runs. The two shared a 203 -run partnership for the fifth wicket.
There was also a big ruckus in the last day’s game. When India’s score was 386 runs for 4 wickets and its lead was 75 runs, England captain Ben Stokes went to both batsmen and tried to join hands with them for a draw. But Jadeja and Sundar refused to join hands as both were close to centuries. Jadeja was playing for 89 and Sundar 80 runs.
This caused Ben Stokes to get angry and lashed out at Jadeja, saying, “You will score a Test century against Harry Brook.” After this, the England team bowled with their part time bowlers Joe Root and Harry Brook, so that the batsmen finished the match by scoring the run quickly. But Jadeja and Sundar completed their centuries, and finally ended on the match draw.
Did Stokes not join hands after the match with Jadeja?
Now a video is going viral on social media, in which it seems that Ben Stokes did not join hands with Ravindra Jadeja. Seeing the atmosphere on the field, some people were convinced that nothing happened between the two. Former Team India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has also given his opinion on this matter.

After the match was over, Jadeja himself went to join hands with Ben Stokes, but Ben was still angry. When talking on the field, Jadeja was handling it very well and smiling. Eventually, Ben Stokes did not join hands with Jadeja. I felt that Jadeja’s patience was broken, as he kept himself calm for a long time. “However, the truth was something else. England captain Ben Stokes himself came forward and joined hands with Ravindra Jadeja. England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) shared the picture on his X account while shaking hands of Ben Stokes and Jadeja.

Ben Stokes said that he has great respect for the Indian team. Stokes said, “When I felt that the match would be drawn, I removed my main bowlers from bowling to protect them from injury. If players like Sundar and Jadeja save their team by scoring a century, it is no less than a win.
