Bhopal. AIIMS (AIIMS Bhopal) located in the capital Bhopal has been recorded internationally. In the World University Ranking for Innovation (Wuri) 2025, the institute has secured 34th position in the Visionary Leadership category globally. This achievement has been given for AIIMS Bhopal’s strategic thinking, innovative leadership and efforts on society.
Under the leadership of the institute, medical education, research and institutional innovation have been rapidly identified. Wuri Ranking honors universities and institutions that make education beyond the traditional realm and make effective and practical contribution to the society. Apart from the Visionary Leadership, AIIMS Bhopal has also been ranked globally in the Student Support and Engagement (A1) category. This ranking underlines the efforts made by the institute towards student empowerment, inclusive education and complete development.
The Wuri rankings released in collaboration with the Switzerland-based Institute for Policy and Strategy on National Competitive-NET (IPSNC) and HaiSetic League of Universities are different from the Wuri Ranking Traditional Ranking System. It not only pays attention to academic publications or papers, but also gives an opportunity to negotiate institutions on standards such as innovation, social contribution on the real world.
