Jaunpur News: Police station Barsathi police has revealed a gang stealing gang in the temple, in which 5 women and one men are included in this gang. Bolero vehicles used in theft and Rs 19,700 cash have been recovered from them. According to the information given by the police, a woman’s chain was stolen during the darshan at Raipur Durga Devi temple on 20 May.

In this case, an FIR was registered on the police station Barsathi. The police investigated the CCTV footage installed in the temple and identified a suspected woman. On May 27, the same woman was again seen in the temple, after which the police team reached the spot and caught her and others present with her.

Used to do incidents of theft at crowded places

During interrogation, it was found that the main accused Rita is from Ghazipur, who along with her gang used to go to different places from Bolero vehicle and commit theft incidents at crowded places. There are already cases of theft against all the accused arrested.

The arrest team included Inspector Rajesh Yadav, Sub -Inspector Rambhavan Yadav, Harendra Ram, Head Constable Kalika Yadav, Harish Yadav, Constable Rizwan Ali, women constables Anupama Singh and Sanjana Singh.
