Chandauli News: Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh: In the CM Dashboard Review meeting organized to ensure the progress and transparency of development works in Chandauli district, District Magistrate Chandra Mohan Garg expressed deep displeasure over the functioning of several departments. In particular, the District Magistrate has given a strict warning to the sluggish speed of the Electricity Department and on its poor ranking on the CM dashboard.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate reprimanded complaints of repeated tripping and temporary power supply to the Electricity Department. He directed the department to ensure uninterrupted power supply as per the scheduled schedule. Along with this, special emphasis was also laid on timely changing transformers and quick resolution of consumers’ problems. This is the final warning that if the Electricity Department does not improve its functioning, strict action will be taken against it.
Projects reviewed
DM also reviewed projects worth more than Rs 50 lakh, including Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, Housing Scheme (Rural), Jal Jeevan Mission, Har Ghar Nal Yojana, Family ID, Operation Rejuvenation, and important tasks like construction and repair of new roads. Strict instructions were given to the concerned departments to complete all the work within the stipulated time frame.
Special attention was also paid to health and irrigation areas. On the delay in PHC Baburi and Basni under construction, the District Magistrate ordered the working organization to issue notice. At the same time, the Executive Engineer has been instructed to ensure smooth supply of irrigation water under the Chandraprabha project and to maintain a continuous dialogue with the farmers.

The District Magistrate gave clear instructions to all the heads of departments that those who have ‘B’ or ‘C’ rankings should immediately identify its causes and make necessary improvements. He described the uploading of progress report on the dashboard as mandatory and warned that strict action would be taken against the officials who are negligent. In this important meeting, Chief Development Officer R.K. Various district level officers including Jagat Sai, CMO Dr. YK Rai, DC MNREGA, PWD and Electricity Department were present.
