Chandauli News: Dhina police have achieved great success in a 21 -year -old case of dowry harassment. Two warranties, who are constantly turning away from justice, have finally been arrested. This arrest is the result of the special campaign of Chandauli Superintendent of Police Aditya Langhe, which aims to bring the long -standing criminals and warranties who have been absconding. The case is of 2004 and it was going to share justice for two decades.
What is the whole matter?
The case is of Dhina police station area, which was registered under Section 323, 504, 506, 498A of IPC and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act under MU No. 16/2004. Abdul Irshad son Abdul Khan and Nasreen Begum wife Abdul Ejaz Khan, both residents of village Jalalpur, Thana Kandwa, Chandauli, were accused in the case. They were accused under dowry harassment and related sections. Court CJ (JD) FCT II Chandauli was continuously issued warrants against them, but they were not appearing in the court.
How was the arrest?
On the strict instructions of Superintendent of Police Aditya Langhe, Dhina Police Station took this action under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Anant Chandrashekhar and the jurisdictional officer Sakaldi Raghuraj. The police team led by Police Station Bhupendra Kumar Nishad arrested these warranties from village Jalalpur today, 26 July 2025 at around 10:20 am. Due to continuous absence from the court, the announcement order was also issued against them under Section 82 CRPC.
Another step towards justice
This step of the Chandauli police reflects the commitment to bring justice in cases which have been pending for decades. Both these warranties will now be produced before the Hon’ble Court CJ (JD) FCT II Chandauli, where further action will be taken as per the law. This arrest has sent a clear message that no matter how many years, they will not be spared and one day they will have to face justice.
