Chandauli News: The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation (CPI-Male) continued the indefinite dharna against the Chakia Tehsil administration on the third day. The activists sitting on the dharna have accused the Tehsil administration of insensitivity. He says that despite three days passing, no officer has reached the memorandum of their demands from the administration.
Anil Paswan warns to intensify the movement
Addressing the dharna, CPI (Male) District Secretary Comrade Anil Paswan said that this attitude of the Tehsil administration reflects his apathy towards the democratic movement. He warned that if the situation remains the same, then the effigy of the insensitive tehsil administration will be burnt soon. He insisted that his party will continue the struggle on public issues and the arbitrariness of the administration will not be tolerated.
Demand for justice for residents of Dharde, Dhanwal and Saphi (Jungle)
This strike is being done mainly demanding the installation of statues of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and allotment of land to build parks in Dharde, Dhanwal and Saphi (Jungle) villages. In addition, activists are also protesting against the threat of demolishing houses which are measured for the sports ground in Dharde. Their demand is that the administration should stop any kind of eviction action without arranging for rehabilitation.
Demonstration of dozens of workers continues
Dozens of activists are sitting on this dharna under the leadership of CPI (Male) Chakia Block Committee member Comrade Harihar Ram. Today, on the third day also, Comrade Dhanwati Devi, Dasharatha Ram, Ghuralal Prasad, Tilakdhari, Nandlal Kanaujia, Mahendra Ram, Katwaru Banwasi, Jagjivan Ram, Alok, Motiram, Shivlochan Ram, Shivaji Chauhan, Sudama Prasad and Abhay Kumar, including many major activists, were involved in the dharna and raised their demands. Om Prakash Yadav presided over by Ram Bhavan Paswan, Om Prakash Yadav presided over today’s dharna, while the program was conducted by Ram Bhavan Paswan.
