Chandauli news: In Mughalsarai in Chandauli district, thieves have once again challenged the police patrol and monitoring system. The latest case is near the Kateser Ganpati apartment under Jalilpur outpost of Mughalsarai Kotwali area, where unknown thieves carried out a big theft in the dark of night. The thieves took away the 11 thousand volt cable to be put into the ground with the help of a Hydra vehicle. The estimated price of the stolen cable is said to be around 18 lakh rupees.

The Tahrir given by the victim Sanjay Tiwari states that the cable was temporarily kept for laying under the ground near the apartment. At night, the thieves loaded and escaped on an unknown vehicle from the Hydra machine, according to the footage captured in CCTV camera. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the apartment, which makes it clear that the theft was well -planned and many people can be involved. The police is engaged in investigation based on CCTV footage. Initial investigation has revealed that the Hydra vehicle belongs to the Chaukaghat region and its owner has been detected. The police is now trying to reach the thieves on that basis.

This major incident of theft has questioned the functioning and patrolling of the police. While the police catch small thieves and pat them on the back, they are failing to stop such big theft. It remains to be seen whether the police soon catch the thieves or this matter will also be buried in the files like other cases.
