Chandauli News: The Chandauli Police and Railway Protection Force (RPF) jointly achieved a major success and busted the illegal liquor business in the Alinagar police station area. In this action, 109 liters of illicit liquor has been recovered, the estimated price of which has been estimated at Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand. Based on accurate information received from the informer, a checking operation was carried out near the Railway Over Bridge in Loco Colony.

Illegal liquor recovered

During this checking, the police team surrounded 13 suspects. A large amount of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession after searching, including English and indigenous liquor of various brands. The list of recovered liquor is as follows:

* 47 bottle 8pm English liquor (every 180 ml)

* 36 Bottle Windsor Domestic Liquor (Each 200 ML)

* 147 bottle after dark English liquor (every 180 ml)

* 10 signature plastic tetra pack English liquor (every 180 ml)

* 109 Officer Choice Tetra Pack English Wine (every 180 ML)

* 210 Blue Lime Country Wine Tetra Pack (Each 200 ML)

* 5 Royal Stag English liquor (every 750 ml)

The total amount of liquor recovered is 109.290 liters, according to Bihar province, about 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees have been estimated.

Thirteen smugglers including seven women arrested

Police arrested 13 liquor smugglers from the spot, including 6 men and 7 women. The arrested persons have been identified as Triloki Rai (24), Vicky Kumar (30), Dharamvir (22), Ranjan Kumar (34), Ranjit Kumar (25), Arvind Singh (51), Kamla Devi (45), Ragini (20), Shimla Devi (40), Sandhya Devi (31), Jahna Khatoon (33), Pooja Kumari (23) and Dulari Devi (55). Most of these smugglers are residents of Vaishali, Aurangabad, Khagaria, Patna and Rohtas districts of Bihar province, while a woman smuggler is a resident of Ghazipur district.

Case registered under Excise Act
