Chandauli News: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has once again set an example of humanity at DDU Junction. Under its special campaign ‘Operation Nanhe Furiste’, RPF did not stop two scared minor girls safely, but also took responsibility for them to reach safe families after counseling. This campaign proves that the railway stations are becoming not only traffic centers, but also centers of humanitarian aid.
How did the incident come out?
Around 1:30 pm on Saturday, RPF DDU Post Sub -Inspector Sarita Gurjar and ASI Shyam Sundar Singh Yadav were conducting checking operations on platform number 2. He saw two minor girls in scared state near the parcel office. When suspected the situation of both, the team immediately stopped them and started inquiries.
Annoyed at her mother’s scolding, she left home
The girls named their names Kajal Kumari (16) and Sana Kumari (15) (changed names). Both were residents of Bhabhua police station, Kaimur district of Bihar. She told that she had escaped from the house, angry with her mother’s scolding.
RPF readiness and sensitivity
Both were counseled by bringing RPF posts and information was given by contacting the family. Subsequently, the girls were handed over the child line to the female staff of the DDU to send them back home safely under the legal process. This campaign once again outlines the role of sensitivity with RPF security. Initiatives like ‘Operation Nanhe Ferishte’ ensure that no child remains helpless and insecure in the station premises.
