Clean Taj announced on 17, Central Government sent invitation, President will give awards

Indore. The results of Sanitation Survey by Central Government will be announced on 17 July. On the same day, the winning cities will be rewarded by the President in the program organized in Delhi.

Union Urban Development Minister Manoharlal Khattar has sent information about organizing this program to all states including Madhya Pradesh. It has been said in this information that the 9th Cleanliness Survey Award Ceremony has been organized on 17 July at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi. The event will be chaired by President Draupadi Murmu. The winning cities will be rewarded with the announcement of the result of the cleanliness survey in this program. It has been said in this information that the team of Madhya Pradesh should participate in the event under the leadership of the Urban Administration Minister and Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary Urban Administration. The program will start at 11 am. In this, the major winning cities will be rewarded by the President. The President will be present in this program for an hour. The remaining winning cities will then be rewarded by the Union Urban Development Minister.

Five categories for the first time
In the Cleanliness Survey, for the first time, all cities have been distributed by the Central Government in five categories. In this, cities with more than 10 lakh population have been kept in a category. There is a category of cities with a population of 3 to 10 lakhs, while cities ranging from 50 thousand to 3 lakh have a separate category. Once the city with a population of 20 thousand to 50 thousand and a city with less than 20 thousand population has also been kept separate categories.

Indore Super Clean League
12 cities including Indore have been placed in the Super Clean League by the government. This league has been taken to those cities, which have achieved success at any of the first three places in the first three consecutive places in the cleanliness survey conducted eight times so far. The league includes Indore, Navi Mumbai, Surat, Noida, Chandigarh, Ambikapur, Tirupati, New Delhi, Vita, Saswat, Panchgani and Patan.

The survey was done at 28 points
This time the cleanliness survey was conducted by the Central Government at 28 points. The survey team went to every city and examined all these points, as well as the work of taking feedback from citizens was given priority. This feedback was also taken online. Along with this, the survey team also went and met the citizens and took their feedback.

Indore has a challenge
Indore and Surat scored uniform marks in the last cleanliness survey. In such a situation, both these cities were jointly declared winners. This time there is a challenge to maintain this crown in front of Indore. Anyway, it will take many years for other cities to do as much work done in the field of cleanliness in Indore.
