Patna. Before the Assembly Elections, Chief Minister (CM) Nitish Kumar has made a big announcement before the Assembly Elections. He has announced to create a commission in the state for the development of upper castes. It has been named the High Caste Commission. BJP leader Mahachandra Prasad Singh has been made the chairman of this commission, while Vice President Janata Dal United Chief Spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan has been made the Deputy Chairman of this commission. The term of this commission will be 3 years. Let us know that by the end of this year, Bihar Assembly is the election.
Significantly, there used to be the upper caste commission in Bihar earlier. Nitish Kumar has announced to reorganize it.
Please tell that yesterday, the Nitish Kumar government reorganized the Minorities Commission and made Ghulam Rasul Balyavi its president. Ghulam Rasool is a former Rajya Sabha MP of Janata Dal United. Balaya was constantly opposing the government against the Waqf law.
Please tell that the central government has decided to conduct caste census. Caste census has already been done in Bihar. Now the government has formed a commission for the development of forward castes. So now it has to be seen what steps this commission takes for the upper castes on the caste census figures.
