New Delhi . The distance between Congress party and Kerala MP Shashi Tharoor is constantly increasing. After the Pahalgam attack, Tharoor, who supported PM Modi’s policy and to keep the country’s side on his call, has now again come under target of Congress leaders (Congress leaders) for one of his articles. In his article written in a daily magazine, Shashi Tharoor has criticized the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi for imposing Emergency in 1975. After this, his partner and MP in the Congress party Manikam Tagore targeted Tharoor and alleged that he was walking on the BJP’s line.
Manikam fiercely targeted his partner Tharoor in a post on social media platform X. He wrote, “When an ally starts repeating the words of the BJP, what would you think- is that bird now becoming a parrot? .. I copy looks good in birds, not in politics.”
What did Tharoor say
In an article published on the subject of Emergency in the magazine to be published in Malayalam language, the Congress MP criticized Indira Gandhi for the Emergency. He wrote, “Sanjay Gandhi, son of Indira Gandhi, launched a sterilization campaign that became an example of a cruel act. Violence and force were used to meet arbitrary goals in backward rural areas. In cities like New Delhi, slums were brutally demolished, which made thousands of people homeless.”
When a colleague starts reepeting BJP Lines Word for Word, You Begin to Wonder – is the bird badcoming a parrot?

On the other hand, this bird of Congress MP Manikam has brought a social media post of Shashi Tharoor, in which he said that there is the best open sky for a bird. Do not ask for permission to fly in this. Apart from this, Shashi Tharoor has been seen continuously talking separately from the party line since the Pahalgam attack. In such a situation, when Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was asked about this, he said that the Congress party works on the mantra of ‘country first’ but for some people is ‘first Modi and later country’.
