New Delhi . Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met the Demolition families affected by the demolition in Delhi (MET).

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has visited Jailor Wala Bagh and Wazirpur areas located in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. These are the same areas where the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launched a demolition campaign a few days ago. Under this campaign, hundreds of slums were broken from bulldozers. Rahul Gandhi met people living in slums in Jailor Wala Bagh and Wazirpur, who were affected during the demolition and heard their problems. Rahul Gandhi tried to know from these people how many acres of slums were broken. Local people told them that action was taken in an area of about 500 meters.

The Congress wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi visited Jailorwala Bagh and Wazirpur in Ashok Vihar, where the DDA broke more than 500 slums.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed that there is a preparation to run bulldozers in Shalimar Bagh and Shahdara areas in the coming days. On Friday, former Chief Minister and AAP leader Atishi said at the press conference, “For the last 6 months, a bulldozer is being run at the poor’s house in Delhi.” Where the slum is, we will make the ground ‘This is the truth of the BJP. ” Atishi said that in the last 6 months, bulldozers were run in several areas including Wazirpur, Madrasi Camp, Jailorwala Bagh, Gokulpur and Madipur. He alleged that preparations have been made to run bulldozers in two more areas.

The former Chief Minister said, “A notice has been made to run a bulldozer on the slum within 15 days at the Indira Camp of Shalimar Bagh, the constituency of CM Rekha Gupta. Rekha Gupta says that not a single slum will be broken, but one slum has been run on a bulldozer and the other is going to walk on the slum.” Atishi claimed that the slums of Lal Bagh in Shahdara have also been noticeable to run bulldozers.
