Lucknow News: A minor bike repairing dispute in Mahona Nagar Panchayat located in Itounja police station area of Lucknow took a big form on seeing it. After beating the Dalit youth and threatening the SC-ST Act, the two communities came face to face. Akash, a resident of Kishunpur, alleges that three youths from the Muslim community entered the shop and beat him mercilessly. On the other hand, shopkeeper Abdullah has also accused of sabotage and threats. The dispute deepened when a minor was beaten in a police post and was taken into custody. Hundreds of people led by Hindu Parishad leader Ramprakash demonstrated at the police station, after which the matter has created an atmosphere of communal tension.

Controversy started with bike repairing, case reached beating

In fact, on Tuesday afternoon, Akash, a resident of Kishunpur, went to Abdullah’s shop in Mahona Nagar Panchayat to repair his motorcycle. An argument started between the two sides over the money of repairing, which turned into a violent clash. Akash alleges that Abdullah, Taj and Saddam, who were present in the shop, brutally beat him with belts and sticks. The victim Akash alleged that during the beating, he was abused and threatened to kill him. He then warned to file a case under the SC-ST Act, causing the matter to be hotted. It is alleged that the opposing side also pressurized him to silence him.

Muslim shopkeeper accused of sabotage and threatening

At the same time, shopkeeper Abdullah said in his favor that Akash came to the shop and started raising abuses. According to Abdullah, Akash threatened to implicate in a false case and misuse the SC-ST Act. Both sides have given a written complaint at Itounja police station. This matter did not stop here. A minor associated with the same dispute is also accused that he was beaten by many people with belts. When the family reached Mahona police post with him, the policemen present there also raised questions. It is alleged that the minor was closed at the outpost, causing anger and enraged.

Opposition of Hindu organizations, protest at police station

Questioning the role of the police, hundreds of villagers led by Hindu Parishad leader Ramprakash reached the police station and started a sit -in demonstration. He alleged that the police is trying to save the Muslim side and injustice is being done to Dalit and Hindu society. Itaunja police station in -charge says that the tahrir of both sides has been obtained. A case will be registered under appropriate sections after medical examination and opportunity examined. The police have appealed to both communities to maintain peace.
